True Story.

Once upon a time there was a king named MASLAC. He was a very kindhearted king. He loved his wife a lot. To give all their love for their people they even chose not to have children of their own. People were happy under his reign. Poverty and robbery were least of their problems during his reign. The import and export business in his dynasty were always at its peak. Maslac’s dynasty export business were well known across seven seas; they specialized in exporting high quality Wheat & Maize, Goat & Beef Meat, Milk products, and Oak and Rosemary wood and furniture. They imported Grapes for wine, and some of the very necessary food products like Rice, Tea, Potato from neighbouring countries.

Maslac never invaded any other kingdom. None of the other neighboring kings dared invade Maslac’s dynasty. Because, even the empires 10times bigger than Maslac’s ran for life after trying to invade Maslac. Maslac had a secret Super power which was known to NONE except his three army Generals and close councils. Maslac’s super power came from tons of preserved Cow Milk which was processed and reduced into a pint every full moon night.

While this happy reign continued for decades, Maslac’s forecasting ministers team predicted that Maslac’s dynasty might hit recession. They had forecasted it to happen within Five years. They also warned Maslac that this might force his country men to migrate out of Maslac, which might lead to lesser man power in long run, which could again affect his army power. They tried to enforce new tax policies and introduced new opportunity for subsidizing resources for some of their businesses. A year passed, and still the threat of being hit by recession did not diminish.

The king called for an emergency council meeting, only to be shocked to hear that his kingdom might face flooding during next monsoon. The threat level was raised. Using the cash reserve they imported tons of rice and other spices and stocked ’em in a huge stone building. The stone building was built in the middle of the Kingdom for easy accessibility and safety. The warehouse was capable of withstanding salt water erosion and earthquake. It was built above a small hill which would also protect from flood entering inside. They stocked all the imported goods in this building, which was guarded by the best soldiers in the kingdom. Based on the forecasts, the ministers feared that the stock might not last long during floods. The news of soon coming recession and flood were leaked by one of the ministers which lead the Maslac’s people panicking. So Maslac drafted a plan to gain the confidence of his people.

Maslac invited a Sadhu from deep inside the forest to his kingdom. The Sadhu performed rituals in front of the whole kingdom and instructed the king and his people to pray the God of Rain by gifting the god with valuables. With all the confusion of hearing about recession and rituals for the first time People did exactly as instructed by the Sadhu. Maslac knew very well about his people’s fear for strange anonymity.

With people’s donation to rain god, Maslac was able to import more food & grains to increase the stock inventory for the predicted Monsoon. To avoid people robbing the stock, the Sadhu informed the people that this building is a Worship place of the God of Rain where people can donate whatever they wish to, to make the god happy. But will only be allowed inside the warehouse with Maslac’s discretion. Which lead people to believe that the biggest store room in the country was a holy place. The Sadhu was given a place to stay inside the warehouse while he performed rituals consistently to maintain the Maslac’s people to believe.
Fear of losing his super power, king decided to stop his people from exporting Beef Meat and Milk Products. Because he could not enforce any laws on his people which might end up in him losing his credibility and respect among his people, he decided to bring another Sadhu from deep inside Sahara desert. This Sadhu performed some different midnight rituals and instructed them that killing is a Sin which will evoke Rain God’s anger. So people decided not to kill the Cows and Bulls, which in turn gave plenty of opportunity for the King to get Milk to gain his super power. King stayed strong forever.
